About Petit Sam
The beginning of petit sam
Petit Sam was founded in 2018 by Btisam El Adlouni. A creative, ambitious woman with a love for fashion, styling, Islam and personal development.
Btisam started wearing a hijab in 2018. The fire in her was fueled by her daughter, who decided to wear a hijab. Not long after, Btisam also stepped out into the world with a headscarf.
Petit Sam stems from a desire for a soft and powerful approach to wearing a hijab. And the need and time to reflect on who you are. To not choose the societal standard, but to stay true to yourself. In addition, Btisam saw how the outside world reacted to wearing a headscarf. It was seen as a covering of her identity instead of an extension.

Btisam wants to convey that you can be who you are and look like that. She wants to give you the courage to discover and embrace your own story and create a life full of reflection. She hopes that she can make the world a little more beautiful with her products and her vision.
She herself encountered the fact that there are few hijab brands that understand the needs of a Muslim woman when it comes to stylish and modern hijabs. But she also looked for recognition.
That's why she decided to start her own brand. Petit Sam is the result.

Behind the name
My name is Btisam and I founded Petit Sam. Petit Sam is the phonetic pronunciation of my name, as it is inspired by my personal journey in living my faith and wearing a hijab.
Btisam stands for resilience. The literal meaning of my name. I have also learned that you have to be resilient and I want to help you with that.
We want to show you that you always have a reason to show your smile to the world. You can choose your own path, discover yourself and what you find important.
At any moment you can be yourself and radiate that!
